A Very Insecure Exhibition

Karen McBride Working with independent bands is the lifeblood of the independent. It’s what gives us a reason to breathe, we don’t need ‘big names’ to click our cameras, the big names don’t make us who we are. The dark unruly raw soul of bands like the Paris Riots: they are the ones that drive us, that drag us into underground smoky venues, their egos just as big as any on an arena stage. It’s for this reason that these guys matter to me… because those guys are these guys...and why shouldn’t I and they become one, just for that one moment? They mattered then and they matter now..

Our cards are printed on A3 sheets with 8 cards on each sheet.
When you set up the sheet, you can choose to have any combination of cards on the sheet, for example 8 cards all the same, 8 different cards or any combination
When you buy the cards, you choose how many sheets you want to be printed – and you will receive 8 cards for each sheet.

What size are the cards?

We trim the cards to A6 – i.e. 14.85cm x 10.5cm

What happens if the image is the wrong shape to fit the card?

Any images that are the wrong shape are automatically cropped so that they fit

      7. These terms and conditions will be governed by and interpreted according to English law. All disputes arising under these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
    5. Giclee Printing
      1. We aim to prepare prints within 24 hours but this may take longer due to technical issues which arise from time to time. If there are likely to be any delays, we will contact the customer for instructions.
      2. We aim to prepare Mounted prints within 72 hours.
      3. We will print according to the customer’s specification during the upload process.
      4. We do not adjust the print image files without specific instructions from the customer.
      5. Prints with mounts will be despatched in Flat Packs otherwise prints will be packaged in tubes or flat-packs at the discretion of UKGiclee.
    6. Books
      1. UKGiclee acts as an intermediary between the author and the printer to ensure that the author is protected as much as possible from printer problems. We ask the customer to approve both a PDF proof and a printed paper proof before committing to any significant print run.
      2. We ask for payment in advance for printing; we don’t pay the printer until we are satisfied that the proof is of an acceptable quality.
      3. Printers usually work within tolerances of 2mm. In case of a printing disagreement, UKGiclee will determine if the printer has printed within their stated tolerances and if the printed product is of a sufficient quality.
      4. We will arrange for any faulty or damaged books to be replaced free of charge.
    7. Delivery
      1. UKGiclee will use a 2-3 day postal or Courier service unless requested otherwise by the customer.
      2. UKGiclee does not accept any responsibility for delays due to Customs intervention.
      3. If the customer requests a specific packaging or delivery supplier, UKGiclee will endeavour to comply and will adjust the delivery cost accordingly.
